GOVERNING COUNCIL
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) is India’s national regulatory body for nurses, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, established by an Act of Parliament in 1947 to create uniform standards for nursing education, training, and practice across the country, focusing on curriculum, accreditation, and recognizing qualifications for nurses in India and abroad.
