B.sc Nursing: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Federal College of Nursing offers a 4-year B.Sc Nursing program affiliated with RGUHS, KNC, and INC. The course focuses on human sciences, disease processes, treatment, and research, preparing students to become professional nurses, educators, and nurse practitioners.

The program trains students to deliver promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care across all age groups in various healthcare settings. It is built on core principles from biological sciences, medical science, and nursing practice.

Admissions Eligibility

  • Minimum Qualification:
    10+2 (State of Karnataka or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, and English as a compulsory subject.
  • Minimum Age:
    17 years by the start of the academic year.
  • Percentage Requirement:
    Minimum 45% in PCB subjects (General Category) OR 40% (SC/ST).
  • Medical Fitness:
    Candidate must be medically fit.
